Downtown San Francisco doesn't necessarily come to mind when I think of the word "peaceful." But while I was waiting to cross the street, I pointed the camera upward and grabbed this shot, which for some reason looks tranquil to me now...

Meg told me that her whole family was pure Irish, and I told her that I'd never met another American who was purebred. The shoot day was perfect... overcast with really soft light, and the venue was a 100-year-old theological seminary that provided great backgrounds.
